Updated hours for the Cohoes track

Beginning June 1, 2026, the outdoor track at Cohoes High School will expand its open hours for City of Cohoes residents only. In addition to the current weekday morning hours of 6 a.m. to 7 a.m., the track will also be open from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

After the school year ends, summer track hours will change to 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. Summer evening hours will be announced at a later date.

Registration required

In order to use the track, you must first register on Family ID Athletics. Once that is complete, please contact Cohoes High School Lead Security Officer Matt LaBombard so he can enter you into the Raptor security system (ID is required). Once registered and approved, you will be issued a key fob that will allow you to enter the track through the track entrance gate (next to the bleachers) during specified hours.  You can reach Mr. LaBombard at mlabomba@cohoes.org or 518-237-9100 ext.1452.
