Abram Lansing celebrates achievement, performing arts

Abram Lansing celebrationAbram Lansing students were hyped Wednesday afternoon to celebrate the achievements of their classmates and to show off their talents.

The assembly started with some Irish step dancing led by 4th grade teacher Kristin Callaghan (see our Instagram @cohoesschools for a video).

Then, Lansing students Isabelle Knight (Grade 3) and London Shatraw (Grade 4) were recognized as recipients of the NY Attorney General’s Triple C (Courage, Character and Commitment) Award.

Student council members were then called to the front of the crowd and received certificates for serving their school.

The event culminated with a performance by Lansing students who have been working with Park Playhouse professionals. It included a dance number, monologues, and improvised skits.
