Cohoes sophomore Royal Brown has been named Times Union Small-School Boys’ Basketball Athlete of the Year as well as a First Team All-Star.

Brown averaged 30.8 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.3 assists per game and had a season-high 38 points in a 70-63 victory over Cobleskill.
