“Quarantine Fairy” featured on news for new venture

Harmony Hill 5th grader Josie Parker, aka the “Quarantine Fairy,” was featured Thursday on Spectrum News for a brand new project: a birthday food drive.

See the story on the Spectrum News website.

Josie has collected several boxes of food and raised more than $1,000 for the Connect Center for Youth backpack program.

Here’s how to donate:

  • Bring pre-packaged snacks or canned goods this Saturday, Mar. 6 (Josie’s birthday) at noon to the corner of Mohawk and N. Mohawk St.
  • Drop-off items by Saturday at Fur-Ever Friends Doggie Daycare, Teta Marie’s Lebanese Restaurant, or LePage’s Market.
  • To make a monetary donation, contact Erin Parker at parke12047@aol.com.
