Form available to change 9-12 learning model for 2nd semester

As Cohoes High School prepares for the second semester of the school year, we would like to give families the option to update their instruction model preference that best meets the needs of their children.

Form to change 9-12 learning model preference for 2nd semester

Note: This form is to be used if your child attends Cohoes High School. A form for K-8 was sent via Parent Square on Jan. 13.

By filling out this form and changing your learning preference, you are committing to that model for the remainder of the school year.

Families previously had the option to make changes quarterly. However, as our high school students work toward the end of the school year, it will become increasingly difficult to maneuver their schedules. Our school leaders aim to set our students up for success, and they believe that a consistent learning model for the rest of the school year will best achieve that.

If you are looking to continue your child in his/her current learning model, you DO NOT need to complete this form. Again, no action is needed if you’d like your child to remain in their current learning model.

If you are requesting a change, please complete this form by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19. All changes for grades 9-12 will be in effect for the entire second semester (Quarters 3 & 4). Due to staffing, space, and course offering limitations, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to honor all requests, but we will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate our students

Preparing our students for success in tomorrow’s world.
