RPI Engineering Ambassadors bring love of STEM to CMS

RPI Engineering Ambassadors visit CMSMembers of the RPI Engineering Ambassadors visited CMS Thursday to give hands-on lessons on the principles of g-force, centripetal force and drag force.

G- and centripetal force were explored as students had the opportunity to design and create their own rollercoasters. To demonstrate drag force, students built lego cars to test in a wind tunnel.

The RPI Engineering Ambassadors (EAs) are a group of RPI engineering students devoted to inspiring younger students with what they are learning in their chosen major, including the newest technological breakthroughs and the real-world challenges yet to be overcome to better our world.

More photos from their visit are available on our public Facebook post.
