Identifying Students for Academic Intervention Services (AIS) 2023-2024

For students in Grades K-2:

  • Performance on the iReady Reading and Math  Assessments (Fall, Winter, Spring): Students scoring below the 30th percentile will be considered for AIS.

Other student performance measures that will also be taken into consideration  (as applicable) include:

  • Scoring significantly below level on the Fountas & Pinnell Benchmark Reading  Assessments
  • Students scoring below the 25th percentile on AIMs Web.
  • Teacher recommendation

    For students in Grades 3- 5 :

All students performing below the median scale scores listed below on the Grade 3-5 ELA or Mathematics NYS assessment will be considered for AIS.

For students in Grades 6- 8:

All students performing below the median scale scores listed below on the Grade 5-8 ELA or Mathematics NYS assessment will be considered for AIS.
