Laura Gerhard, a school psychologist at Harmony Hill, has been named the New York Association of School Psychologists Chapter J School Psychologist of the Year. The chapter is comprised of Albany, Schenectady, Columbia, Rensselaer and Schoharie Counties.
Gerhard was nominated for the award by her colleagues.
“She is a true asset to Cohoes,” said Natalie Partyka, a psychologist at Abram Lansing. “She goes above and beyond and truly cares about the children, their families, and what matters for best outcomes.”
