A draft of the district’s 2021-22 code of conduct is available for public comment through Aug. 6. A public hearing on the document will be held on July 7 following the Board of Education annual reorganization meeting, which starts at 6 p.m.

The district is required to review the code of conduct annually. The draft version includes one change from the previous school year in the Essential Partners section, under Teachers and Other Instructional Staff. In the phrase “Classroom discipline plan,” the word “discipline” was changed to “management.”
Comments can be emailed to boecomment@cohoes.org. All public comments will be reviewed. A vote to adopt the code of conduct will be on a future board meeting agenda.
