The Cohoes City School District Athletics Department is pleased to unveil The Tiger Way video, featuring eight CHS student athletes discussing what the The Tiger Way means to them and how they incorporate its values into their everyday lives.
Implemented in 2019 by Athletic Director Jeff Huneau after seeing a need for a “defined” set of values student athletes can follow, he worked with students and coaches to come up with the following core principles that students are expected to learn, display, and live by as a Cohoes Tiger:
- Be a good teammate
- Be committed
- Be service-minded
- Be proud
- Be respectful
- Work relentlessly
- Be resilient
- Be accountable
- Be confident
“The hope is that this video is seen by our elementary and middle school students and inspires them to be the best tiger they can be by seeing our older athletes discuss the core values,” said Mr. Huneau.
