CDCA College Caravan visits CHS

CHS students had the opportunity last week to meet and mingle with admission representatives from 26 colleges and universities at the Capital District Counseling Associate (CDCA) Fall College Caravan.

Students stopped to speak with admissions counselors, gather information and learn about the programs and services offered at each school.

James Crable, who is interested in the engineering field, liked how the set up of tables made it easy to visit each college.

“I liked how it was set up with a lot of choices,” said the junior who picked up information from three colleges that offer his program. “It got me thinking about what I want to do.”

Which is precisely why it’s crucial to provide student access to these kinds of possibilities.

“This event gives students a wonderful chance to network with local colleges and learn more about different post-secondary programs and opportunities that are available to them upon graduation,” said CHS Counselor Amanda Gebur. “We are so grateful that the CDCA college caravan comes back year after year to support our students.”

Preparing our students for success in tomorrow’s world.
