As discussed at the Oct. 5 Board of Education meeting, there are proposed revisions to our Homeless Children Policy 5151 and our Parent and Family Engagement Policy 1900 based on updated state and federal requirements.
The Parent and Family Engagement Policy describes how we will carry out the designated Title I, Part A, parent and family engagement requirements pursuant to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Section 1116(a).
The Homeless Children Policy describes how we will meet the requirements under ESSA and McKinney Vento legislation.
