Threat on CHS investigated, deemed not credible by Cohoes police

Late Sunday night, Cohoes police received a report indicating that a Cohoes High School student had threatened violence at the school.

Police went to the student’s home early Monday morning to investigate and deemed the threat not credible.

Cohoes police and district leaders continue to look into the matter. We work closely with Cohoes police to respond quickly to any threat of violence in order to keep our students and staff safe.

If you have any questions about safety practices in our schools, please reach out to your building administrator.

Preparing our students for success in tomorrow’s world.
