Threat at CHS investigated, deemed not credible by Cohoes police

Shortly before dismissal Monday afternoon, Cohoes High School administrators were made aware that students overheard a classmate make a threat about another student. Administrators immediately called Cohoes police, who visited the home of the student who allegedly made the threat.

Police have deemed it not credible.

The district works closely with Cohoes police to respond quickly to any threat of violence in order to keep our students and staff safe. If you have any questions about safety practices in our schools, please reach out to your building administrator.
