An information session for parents of eighth grade students interested in applying to the Future-Ready Pathways program has been postponed from Wednesday, February 13 to Monday, February 25 at 5:30 pm in the middle school library.
The deadline to submit an online application has been extended to Friday, March 1 at midnight.
The program, which is funded by the New York State Education Department’s Smart Transfer grant, is a collaboration between the district, Hudson Valley Community College and the University at Albany. Twenty-five eighth grade students are selected annually to participate. They have the option to choose one of four career exploration pathways:
- Computers, Engineering and Technology
- Health Science and Human Services
- Early Childhood and Adolescent Education
- Business and Communications
