ARP ESSER Plan

The Cohoes City School District submitted a plan (when) to receive federal coronavirus relief funding through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSER).

This funding will be used toward sustaining safe operations of Cohoes schools while addressing academic, social, emotional and mental health needs of students resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. As required by state education law, the district maintains an ARP ESSER Plan and must post this plan on its website. This plan is designed to outline how these funds will be used.

The plan will be updated throughout the school year as necessary. Every effort has been made to ensure that the plan is accessible to all individuals.

If you need assistance to access the plan, please email the district’s communications office. If you have questions about the plan, please contact Superintendent Peggy O’Shea at 518-237-0100, option 6.
