New IDs will give students access to meal accounts, bus passes

During the week of February 12, new photo ID cards will be issued to all Cohoes middle and high school students. The cards will give students access to their meal plans and also act as their CDTA bus passes.

“This is a great opportunity to streamline our ID system,” CDTA transportation coordinator Tom Kostrzebski said. “Students will carry one card to utilize two very important accounts.”

Previously issued CDTA bus passes will work until the week of March 5 and will then be deactivated.

The cost to replace lost ID cards will be $10.

Preparing our students for success in tomorrow’s world.
