Students receiveing special education services and attending private school:

Dual enrollment forms must be submitted to the school district in which the private school is located by June 1, 2015, in order to receive services for the 2015-16 school year, even if you are already attending the private school. Dual enrollment forms are available from the school district in which the private school is located. Please find a list of private schools and the district in which they are located (where the form must be submitted) below:

  • St. Ambrose Catholic School – North Colonie Central School District
  • Latham Christian Academy – North Colonie Central School District
  • St. Mary’s Catholic School – Waterford Central School District
  • Catholic Central High School – Lansingburgh Central School District
  • Christian Brothers Academy – South Colonie Central School District
  • Bet Shraga Hebrew Academy – South Colonie Central School District
  • AnNur Islamic School – South Colonie Central School District

Notice to parents regarding inclement weather and Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings

If school is delayed or canceled, the information will be sent over the district's Emergency Telephone Notification System, in addition to being posted on this website, and distributed to several local media outlets for their websites and/or broadcasts.

If you have a Committee on Special Education (CSE) meeting scheduled for a day that school is canceled or delayed, please be aware of the following information:

If school is closed - All meetings and presentations, both day and evening, will be canceled.

If school is delayed one hour - High school and middle school CSE meetings begin with 9:30 a.m. meeting; Elementary CSE meetings begin with 10 a.m. meeting; Preschool CPSE meetings take place as scheduled; If your CSE/CPSE meeting was scheduled before the times above, your meeting will be canceled on that day and you will be notified of the rescheduled date and time.

If school is delayed two hours - High school and middle school CSE meetings begin with 10:30 a.m. meeting; Elementary CSE meetings begin with the 10 a.m. meeting; Preschool CPSE meetings take place as scheduled; If your meeting was scheduled before 10 a.m., it is canceled and you will be notified of the rescheduled date and time.
