District staff members honored for service

John Wilhelm was recognized as the district's longest employee with 36 years at the Cohoes City School District's  Ninth Annual Employee Recognition Day on Nov. 6.

The event, which was held during the Superintendent's Conference on Election Day, honored more than 90 employees for their service to the district.

"You're professionals, you're well-educated and we try to allow you to do the job you're hired to do," said Superintendent Charles S. Dedrick. "Here in Cohoes, we live by the Character Education traits. We respect our employees and hopefully that shows through."

Dedrick presented each honoree with a pin.
