Teachers have a lesson in project-based learning
During
a staff development day in November, the Cohoes Middle School
staff had their own lesson in project-based learning.
Using
straws and tape, the teachers worked collaboratively in teams to
attempt to build the tallest straw tower.
The teachers' lesson was based on engaging students in the
classroom through project-based learning, and encouraging
students to use it more often.
The winning tower was six feet, 10 inches tall. |
