High School embraces partnership
with local business
Cohoes
High School is embracing a new partnership with Capital
Communications Federal Credit Union, which recently moved into
Cohoes.
The organization, which has a new office in the
city, has taken an active role in working with the high school
to sponsor the Student Scholars program, as well as the recent
Cohoes Relays.
In addition to helping the schools financially,
the credit union is hoping to coordinate visits to classes from
business experts, who can talk with students about checking,
budgeting, banking, investing and other financial topics.
"This is a great opportunity for us," said
Cohoes High School Principal Joseph Rajczak.
