National Junior Honor Society food drive will bring food to hungry families

Photo of middle school students with donated food.The Cohoes Middle School National Junior Honor Society collected nearly 400 items as part of their first ever food drive, which was held from Jan. 7-25.

The eighth-grade honor society students made posters and collection boxes that were placed around the school, letting people know where and when they could donate. Staff and students contributed the food, which will be donated to the Northeast Regional Food Bank.
