Earn your GED for FREE!
The Cohoes City School District in cooperation with Capital Region BOCES is offering a FREE General Equivalency Diploma Program beginning this fall. The GED program is offered for all students 17 or olderwho lack a high school diploma and are no longer enrolled in school. Instruction and materials are FREE.

Mondays and Wednesdays, 5 p.m. - 8 p.m., beginning September 19 (enrollment is continuous)

Cohoes Middle School, Room 110, 7 Bevan Street, Cohoes 12047 (off Columbia St.)
Instruction will be provided by a certified teacher in the five areas of study to prepare for the GED exam. Initial assessment is done to determine the student's needs, and an individualized education plan is developed to accommodate each student. Classes offer continuous enrollment, so you may register at any time by attending a class.
