Second annual CMS Turkey Trot builds on success!
Nov. 18, 2011 - After school dismissed on Thursday, November 17, students and staff from Cohoes Middle School took to the pavement to participate in the second annual CMS Turkey Trot!
The school wide Turkey Trot was coordinated by physical education teacher Liz Duma. Overall, approximately 50 students and staff participated in the run despite the chilly weather.
Students ran a one-mile course around the outside of the school, with awards going to the male and female winner from each grade level. Price Chopper donated the first place "trophies" - 15-pound frozen turkeys.

First-place winners for seventh grade: Jessica Martinez-Peraza and Cameron Bourgeois
First-place winners for eighth-grade: Jordan Harris and Jerrod Rodrigues
