District celebrates new Alumni Gymnasium with doubleheader

Dec. 12, 2011 - Hundreds of spectators turned out last Friday night to celebrate the unveiling of the new Alumni Gymnasium sign during a special varsity basketball doubleheader v. Lansingburgh.

Between the girls' and boys' games, Superintendent of Schools Robert Libby welcomed Tiger supporters and the visiting team and fans from Lansingburgh. He introduced both Cohoes team captains and their respective coaches and thanked CHS alumni for their continued support.

Despite the enthusiastic home crowd, it was a split decision for the Tigers, with the girls' team winning 68-36 and the boys' team losing by three points, 61-58.
