Cohoes' cross country program receives donation from Fleet Feet Sports

14, 2010 - Thanks to the good luck of Cohoes High School senior
Jessica Ayotte, Fleet Feet Sports made a $500 donation the
district's cross country program.
Fleet Feet Sports owner Charles Woodruff presented the donation to Cohoes Athletic Director Tom Kostrzebski and two students on Sept. 9, 2010.
"We're just thrilled to be able to support the running programs, who in turn support our store," Woodruff said.
The district was chosen to receive the donation because Ayotte's name was selected in a drawing of 150 area students' names at a recent store event.
Kostrzebski said the cross country program is thankful for the donation, which can go a long way. He is looking forward to working with the coaches to determine the best use of the money, and how it can help Cohoes high school runners.
