Coming back with a celebration!

Sept 14, 2010 – Students, teachers, staff and parents at Harmony Hill School didn't just return to school, they celebrated!

The school hosted a "Back-to-School Kick-Off," complete with a proclamation from Cohoes Mayor John McDonald, to celebrate the start of the 2010-11 school year.

After an introduction, music from members of the high school band, and a message from the mayor, students and their families were invited to "parade"” down Madelon Hickey Way.

Throughout the morning following the parade, students had guest speakers and participated in community service projects in their classrooms.
