Sept. 9, 2011 – Pursuant to section
300.573(b) of 34 CFR of the Federal Regulations 20, the Cohoes City
School District is destroying all paper copies of records which have
been previously imaged (microfilmed) of students who received special
education services with birth dates from 1977 to 1999 and also have
graduated, aged out or moved out of the district through June 2003.
Students or their legal guardians falling within this time frame who
wish to obtain their records from the Office of Special Education must
contact the office to schedule a pick up time prior to October 15,
2011 at Page Avenue School - (518) 237-0990.
Paper records not claimed by this date will be removed from storage
and destroyed.
