Tech Valley visitors share "Story of
Stuff" with CMS students
Mar 24 - CMS students in Mr. Michael's eighth grade social studies class welcomed visitors from Tech Valley High School this week. The students came to the school to share what they have been learning about the lifecycles and environmental impact of everyday consumer products, from sneakers, to cell phones, jeans, TVs and even tacos.
Sharing their "Stories of Stuff" with projects
constructed at the regional public high school, the Tech Valley
students detailed how different products -- both natural and manmade
-- impact the planet in terms of ecology, the economy and human
life.
