Harmony Hill team: "The race for excellence has no finish line"

June 7, 2011 - Harmony Hill teachers and staff represented the Cohoes City School District at the Workforce Team Challenge on May 19 in downtown Albany. They joined more than 9,000 competitors with a team of 18 led by team captain, Kiera Hovey. The annual race offers a team building experience and a course where participants can walk, run or jog through picturesque Washington Park. "It was great to see so many teachers and staff at this race," said Principal Mark Perry, who also participated. "Harmony Hill is a team inside as well as outside of school.

"Next year look forward to having other schools within the district join us so can have a districtwide team represented at this event," said Perry.

"Those of us in education thrive on challenges and the Workforce Challenge gave Team Harmony Hill a chance to work together toward a common goal and realize a victory!" said teacher and CTA president MaryAnn Beaury.
