Abram Lansing sets stage for "Undercover Playground"
June 3, 2011— Abram Lansing provided the
stage for a new, unique dance experiment from the Ellen Sinopoli
Dance Company. The troupe spent several days at the school
rehearsing a creative movement project they will unveil this summer
at parks and pl
aygrounds
in five Capital Region counties.
Students at the school took part in the dance experiment as the dance troupe studied reactions from students that ranged from confusion and disinterest to curiosity and acceptance, that for many resulted in pure joy of helping professional dancers stage a dance on their school playground. Look for the Ellen Sinopoli Dance Company this summer...you won't know where they might turn up next!
