Faculty team wins student-faculty game, $600 raised for the U.S.O.

23, 2010 - The Cohoes Varsity Club raised more than $600 for the
U.S.O. through a student-faculty basketball game that was played on
Dec. 3 at CHS.
Individuals were able to donate online and all the admission fees received at the game were added, putting the Varsity Club's total over their goal of $500.
To follow the theme of this year's game, the student team, lead by Coach Mike Galuski, wore traditional camouflage t-shirts. The faculty team, lead by Coach James Ducharme, wore the traditional outdoor winter camouflage. The faculty team was joined by three members of the U.S. Army.
The faculty team prevailed once again! This year's score was 100-72, leaving the faculty undefeated.
