Boys soccer team honored
Dec.
21, 2010 - Several Cohoes students were honored at the Section 2
Soccer Banquet at the beginning of December.
Students awarded honors were: Brandon LaForest, who was named to the Second Team Colonial Council and Mohammed Rasoully and Joe Sorel, who were named to the First Team Colonial Council All-Stars, Section 2 Class B All-Stars and both finalists for Class B Player of the Year out of 10 local players.
It was an excellent showing for Cohoes to have two players in the running for Player of the Year.
In addition, Coach Dave Wasserman was one of four finalists for Coach of the Year for Class B.
