CHS closed on Jan. 11 for administration of English Regents exam
Dec. 13, 2010 - To accommodate the revised date for the NYS Comprehensive English Regents Exam, Cohoes High School will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 11, for the administration of the test.
The exam was initially scheduled for the annual Regents Week, but the State Education Department decided to move the exam to earlier in the month. Because the exam has a new format, and state officials wanted more time to formalize scores and communicate them to districts in time for second-semester class scheduling decisions.
The other Regents exams will still be held during this week, Jan. 25-28, and Regents Review classes are currently being offered at the high school. For a schedule of review classes, click here.
