Cleaning up the school
On
May 13, the Select Studies Students, along with students in a BOCES
program, took part in a clean up of Page Avenue School. The clean up
involved both indoor and outdoor activities, and was performed as an
extension to the Cohoes Beautification Project, which involved
students performing various community services throughout the city of
Cohoes.
This was the second year in a row that the students of Page Avenue School have helped to beautify the building and grounds. Students raked leaves, planted flowers, pulled weeds, cleaned windows and performed various other activities within the school. Mr. Sheldon and Ms. Blanchard helped to supervise the activities for the Select Studies students, while Ms. Gigliello supervised the students from the BOCES program.
