Middle School Drama Club launches

The middle school has a new Drama Club, which is planning to put on a play this year.

The club is being run by Tony Rivera, one of the founders of the Cohoes Music Hall.

Membership in this club is open to anyone. Every type of person is needed, from the most organized to the most artistic, from the singer or actor to the person running the show behind the scenes.

"Each one of you has a gift or talent that can be used to take a show from being a good one to being a great one!" Rivera said.

Students are preparing for auditions for the play, which will eventually be presented in the district at several of the schools.

Students are encouraged to stop by the middle school library every Monday at 2:45 p.m. to join the Cohoes Middle School Drama Club.
