Students' spirit rallies teams
On
Friday, Oct. 5, Cohoes High School was awash in blue and gold
for the Homecoming Pep Rally.
Dressed in blue and gold, students chanted their
class year, trying to be the loudest class in the gym. There
were signs, whistles, cheerleaders with pom poms waving and the
band.
The cheerleaders generated cries from the crowd as each team was
called to the center of the gym and recognized.
Over
the long holiday weekend, several teams faced other schools in
competition. Victorious were the football team, which won over
Taconic Hills 40-0, and the boys soccer team, which beat
Mechanicville 4-0.
