Student Athletes Donate to Breast Cancer Support Initiatives

Members of the JV & Varsity Football,  Girls Varsity Soccer and Cross Country teams donated to Lee National Denim Day, one of the largest single-day fundraisers for breast cancer. The event was held in October in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness month.

In October, Lee Jeans encourages millions of people nationwide to slip into their favorite jeans and make a donation to support the fight against breast cancer.

The National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund will use the money from the students' donations to create a unique multi-media, Web-based and print resource dedicated to providing individuals with breast cancer, including those at risk, and their families and friends tools they need to make informed decisions about issues in breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. This resource will allow them to become advocates for themselves and others.
