Music to their ears
Harmony Hill School takes a trip to the
symphony
Every
student at Harmony Hill School went "Back to the Future" with
the Albany Symphony on Monday, Jan. 28 during a trip to the
Palace Theatre.
The interactive performance, which was geared
toward elementary students, featured conductor David Miller
acting as Ludwig van Beethoven. He asked students questions and
not only taught them about how the symphony works, he told them
about Beethoven's life and even had them singing at the end of
the show!
"I hope this trip gave our students a deeper
appreciation for the important of music," said Harmony Hill
School Principal Kitty Summers.
The school's PTA fully funded the field trip.
