The Cohoes High School newspaper, PawPrints, has
a new look this year.
The publication, which comes out several times
each year, is a student-run newspaper. It focuses on including
something about all of the high school's activities.
"We're trying to include everybody and write
articles that are inclusive," said JoAnn Johnson, a high school
art teacher and newspaper advisor. Johnson works with Mrs.
Caputo, the other advisor, to help students get their newspaper
out.
High school technology teacher Mr. Papero built
a large newspaper stand for the group, and students sell
newspapers during lunch in the cafeteria for 25 cents a copy.
The paper includes news, poetry, sports
coverage, art, cooking ideas and puzzles.
