An adventure in learning

Earlier this year students from the Page Avenue School attended the half-day workshop called Project Adventure at the LaSalle School of Albany.

Project Adventure is a challenge course program designed as an indoor course with a number of elements and related activities that together move students and other groups through a process of developing trust, working together and taking individual and group risks in a supervised, supportive, programmed and safe way. The philosophy of the course is "challenge by choice." Through activities and the individual and group dynamics, students develop skills such as teamwork and experience personal growth.

Students will be attending a second course at the end of April.
