Areas you may want to try in the Choices Planner:

Interest Profiler

- Located under the "Work" headline.
- Click on "Start Answering Questions."
- There are 180 questions. Allow 10-15 minutes to complete this section.
- Consider your "Top Interest Areas," then click in "Check out Careers Matching Your Interests."
- Click on each career title to find out more about that career.

School Finder

- Start by clicking on "Key Facts." This allows you to choose location, availability of programs, size and other factors that are important in selecting the appropriate college for you.
- Click on "See your list of Schools" when you have completed this section.
- This will provide you with a list of schools in New York State that fir your selected criteria.
- Next choose from admissions, tuitions and cost, programs offered, sports, campus life, or career connects on the left-hand side of the screen
Repeat as in the "Key Facts" section.

Career Plan Builder

- Under "What Next?" in the right-hand column after you sign in.
- This section provides an opportunity to explore various career paths and connect them to education options.
- Click on "Start Your Plan Now."
- Enter career in "Search for a Career" box or click "Explore Careers."
- Develop Plan 'A' and then Plan 'B'
