CMS PTO Applebee's Flapjack Fundraiser set for March 3
The Cohoes Middle School PTO will host a Flapjack Fundraiser breakfast on Saturday, March 3 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Latham Applebee's. Tickets are $6 and 75 percent of all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the PTO for sponsored activities at the middle school. print flyer>>

Eighth grader scores repeat win at annual CMS Spelling Bee
Eighth-grade student Jaron Esposito will make a return visit to the stage of Proctors Theatre next month to compete in the Scripps Regional Spelling Bee, after he won the 26th Annual Cohoes Middle School Spelling Bee on Monday, January 9. Students flip for BMX stunt riders
On November 21, students were treated to an exciting exhibition from professional BMX cyclists who brought thrills -- minus the spills -- to the CMS gym. The student council-sponsored activity is an annual event coordinated by teacher and council adviser Elaine Briceland as a way to promote PBIS participation and bolster school spirit. more>>
