The Cohoes High School Alumni Association has been in existence since the 1950s. It began as a support group for senior class activities, and awarding scholarships for graduates became its main activity. By 1998, funds had dwindled and would have been gone in three years, but the committee planning the "Fabulous Fifties Reunion" that year decided to make the association's reorganization part of its reunion plans. Letters were sent with invitations seeking yearly dues and contributions, and now the organization is flourishing. The Cohoes High School Alumni Association has 501(c)(3) Status with IRS and contributions made are tax-deductible.
The Cohoes Alumni Directory is an online database containing the names, email addresses and year of graduation for those who choose to register. This database is not under the direction of the Alumni Association. If you questions please contact our webmaster. You can use the links below to search the directory, add your name, or update an existing record.
It has come to the organization's attention that some individuals are being scammed by someone offering "$10 Lifetime Memberships" to Cohoes High Alumni. This is a scam! The Alumni Association's newsletter is free to all alumni or anyone who would like to have it by mail. Money intended to support CHS grads should be sent to Cohoes High School Alumni Assn at P.O. Box 229, Cohoes, NY 12047. We have no other method of collecting dues or donations. We do not offer lifetime memberships. Our annual $5 dues are not being increased.
We are very grateful for the support of the good people of Cohoes have given our Alumni Association since it was created in 1999.
